Competition Terms & Conditions

2. Participation in this competition (the "Competition") is via www.pastahut.co.uk only.
3. By entering the Competition you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
4. The Competition is being run by Pizza Hut UK Ltd, One Imperial Place, Elstree Way, Borehamwood, Herts. WD6 1JN ("Pizza Hut").
5. Pizza Hut reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition or these terms and conditions without notice in the case of any event outside Pizza Hut's reasonable control. Any changes will be posted on the Competition page
6. In the event of a dispute regarding these terms and conditions, conduct, results and all other matters relating to the Competition, the decision of Pizza Hut shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.

Competition Entries

7. The Competition commences on 6 October 2008 and closes at midnight on 18 January 2009.
8. No purchase is necessary to participate in the Competition.
9. To enter the Competition you must be:
   (a) UK resident; and
   (b) aged 18 years old or over at the time of entry.
10. Only one entry per household is permitted.
11. Pizza Hut management and employees (or members of their immediate families) are not eligible to enter.
12. By entering the Competition, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. Pizza Hut reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.
13. Entrants must register their email address online to register their entry. By registering you agree to receive electronic communications from Pizza Hut and it's associated brands.
14. Pizza Hut accepts no responsibility for any entries which are lost or delayed, or which are not received for any reason. Faxed evidence does not constitute proof of entry.
15. Pizza Hut reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions.

Prize

16. Entries will be drawn at random by an independent judge. The first entry drawn where the questions have been correctly answered, will win.
17. The winner will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date, by 15th February 2009.
18. In the event of the prize as advertised being unavailable, an alternative prize of a similar value will be supplied to the winner. The nature and value of the prize will be determined by Pizza Hut in its sole discretion and whose decision will be final.
19. No cash alterative will be offered.
20. The prize cannot be transferred or refunded.
21. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
22. All taxes, insurances, transfers, spending money and other expenses (including meals or personal expenses, upgrades etc.) as the case may be, unless specifically stated, are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
23. The prize is based on a Thomson holiday to Tuscany Italy for a family of four (two adults and two children) for 7 nights in July 2009, self catering (official rating 3 accommodation), sharing an apartment that sleeps 4 people. Flying from Gatwick to Pisa and back to Gatwick. Price as per Thomson.co.uk 25th September 2008.

Liability

24. Pizza Hut cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the Competition or as a result of accepting any prize. Pizza Hut is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment or software related to or resulting from participation in the Competition. Pizza Hut does not limit or exclude its liability where to do so would be contrary to law.

Data Protection and Publicity

25. The winner may be requested to take part in promotional activity and Pizza Hut reserves the right to publish the name of the Competition winner in relation to publicity.
26. Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the individual's prior consent. Please see Pizza Hut's privacy policy for further details.

Jurisdiction

27. English law applies and the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales shall prevail.
